Dive right into the holiday spirit with these Chocolate Candy Cane Donuts! Boasting a good amount of iron and magnesium, these donuts are great for boosting energy levels and balancing hormones. Plus, these donuts have a good amount of protein and fibre which will help balance your blood sugar as you enjoy them!

Baking Powder
1/4 tsp
Kosher Salt

Chocolate Vegan Protein Powder
1/2 cup
Cacao Powder
1/2 cup
Maple Syrup

Large Eggs
beaten
1 tsp
Vanilla Extract
1/3 cup
Avocado Oil
1/2 cup
Cashew Milk
100 g
Dark Chocolate
chopped
2 Tbsp
Coconut Oil
1/4 cup
Candy Canes
chopped

PREHEAT: oven to 350F. Lightly grease 2 donut pans (12 donuts total).

SIFT: the dry ingredients together and mix the wet ingredients together. Combine the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix well.

SCOOP: the batter into the prepared donut pans, filling the molds halfway.

BAKE: the donuts for 12-15 minutes. Let cool.

WARM: The dark chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler to melt the chocolate. Dip the donuts into the chocolate and coconut oil mixture. Sprinkle the donuts with the chopped candy canes.

Substitutions: No candy canes? Add a drop or two of peppermint extract to the chocolate dip.
