This Creamy Vegan Mocha is a dreamy, warming hug in a mug. If you’ve been trying to reduce your coffee intake, or if you simply cannot have coffee beverages, this drink will satisfy your coffee cravings. Plus, the dandelion root is a great liver supporter and can help promote liver detoxification, while the cacao powder offers the calming effects of magnesium and free radical-fighting polyphenols and flavonoids. If you’re looking to totally cut out caffeine, you can easily swap out the cacao powder for carob powder.

Instructions

  1. 1

WARM: in a small pot, add all of the ingredients and warm the mixture over medium heat.

  2. 2

BLEND: the mixture in a blender to create a frothy and creamy consistency.

  3. 3

POUR: into your favourite mug and enjoy!

  4. 4

Substitutions: No caffeine whatsoever? Omit the cacao powder for carob powder. No blender? You can whisk or froth the mixture in the pot if blending is not an option. Can’t get Dandyblend? Opt for 1/4 cup steeped dandelion root tea.
