If you’re looking for a simple crowd pleaser at your next BBQ, these BBQ Chicken Wings are a healthier alternative to fried or breaded wings. Chicken wings are not only one of the best foods to BBQ but they are also an excellent source of vitamins A, D, E, K and iron. This recipe uses a dry brine which will help make the wings crispier without the need for breading or frying.

Instructions

  1. 1

TOSS: the chicken wings with the baking powder, salt, garlic powder and onion powder and spread out on a wire rack and baking sheet. Set in the fridge uncovered for 30 minutes - 2 hours to improve the crispyness of the skin.

  2. 2

PREHEAT: BBQ grill to 350℉-400℉. It’s best to cook the chicken wings on indirect heat and finish them on direct heat for crispy skin. Cook for about 20 minutes or until crispy.

  3. 3

BRUSH: BBQ sauce on the chicken wings 5 minutes before they are ready to come off the grill.
