These have summer BBQ written all over them! Lamb is a great alternative to beef if you want to switch things up from time to time. It contains vitamin B12, selenium, zinc, other vitamins and minerals and it’s packed with protein.

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, add the lamb, avocado oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and mix well to combine. Divide the lamb into four pieces and shape into thick patties.

  2. 2

Heat the BBQ on medium-high heat and add the lamb patties. Grill for 6-7 minutes per side or until cooked to your liking. Just before you take them off the grill, add the cheese slices to each slider and cook until melted.

  3. 3

To assemble, add spring mix to the bottom of each bun followed by the lamb slider and sliced onions.

  4. 4

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Enjoy!

  5. 5

Substitutions: Use lettuce instead of buns. Add more toppings like tomatoes, cucumbers, tzatziki and hot sauce are all great options!
