Grilled Leeks with Balsamic Glaze

These grilled leeks are super easy to make and require minimal ingredients because the leeks have so much flavour on their own! Leeks are a prebiotic, they feed good bacteria (probiotics). They can help to improve digestion and overall gut health.

Leek

2Tbsp

Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

1/2tsp

Sea Salt

1/2tsp

Black Pepper

2Tbsp

Balsamic Glaze

Instructions

Clean, trim and remove the tops (the tougher green parts) of the leeks. Cut them in half and then cut them again lengthwise.

Brush olive oil all over followed by the sea salt and black pepper.

Heat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the leeks for 3-4 minutes per side. You want to get a nice char on them.

When ready to serve, drizzle the balsamic glaze all over. Enjoy!
