These grilled leeks are super easy to make and require minimal ingredients because the leeks have so much flavour on their own! Leeks are a prebiotic, they feed good bacteria (probiotics). They can help to improve digestion and overall gut health.

Instructions

  1. 1

Clean, trim and remove the tops (the tougher green parts) of the leeks. Cut them in half and then cut them again lengthwise.

  2. 2

Brush olive oil all over followed by the sea salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

Heat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the leeks for 3-4 minutes per side. You want to get a nice char on them.

  4. 4

When ready to serve, drizzle the balsamic glaze all over. Enjoy!
