Strawberry Quinoa Flake Oatmeal

If you’re looking for an oatmeal alternative, try this version made with quinoa flakes instead. The consistency is very similar.

    In a small saucepan, pour in the quinoa flakes, almond milk, vanilla and the mashed banana.

    Bring to a low boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for two to three minutes.

    Remove from the heat and divide into bowls. Top with strawberries and almond butter. Enjoy!

    Substitutions: Nut-free: use another type of milk and tahini or sunflower seed butter. No banana: omit, you may need to add some maple syrup to sweeten.
