Immunity Juice

This drink is rich in vitamin C and phytonutrients that support the immune system. Great for preventing the common cold or flu, as well as soothing a sore or irritated throat by using turmeric and ginger, both warming and anti-inflammatory ingredients. Manuka honey is one of the most powerful forms of honey, containing both antimicrobial and immune protective properties. It is highly therapeutic for healing wounds. Choosing to leave some lemon peel on your citrus fruit when juicing allows for added fibre, vitamins and minerals. Citrus fruits, such as; lemons and limes are liver supportive and cleansing and their essential oils are highly beneficial.

    Juice all the ingredients (option to juice orange, lemon, and lime with or without rind - the rind will add a bit of zest and a bitter element, however it’s very high in vitamin C and fibre).

    Pour the juice over a glass of ice and stir in a bit of honey (use honey to naturally sweeten).

    Option to store extra juice in an airtight jar/pitcher and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
